Practice Player 3.2.0
- Released
Each of your own songs now has its own equalizer. Bring the bass forward to learn a bass line, or lift the vocals to catch the words.
Your own files also show their waveform behind the player slider. The part inside your loop is bright green.
The count-in now bounces on each click, and the song starts right on the beat. Each playlist can have its own theme too.
In this release
- A five-band equalizer, saved with each song like speed and pitch.
- Presets: Flat, Bass, Bass Focus, Mid Focus, Vocals, Speech and Small Speaker. Save your own curve as a preset too.
- Choose the frequency each band works on.
- Hold to Compare plays the song without the equalizer for as long as you hold it.
- Boosts are leveled automatically, so the sound doesn't distort.
- The equalizer works on your own files: imports, recordings and downloaded purchases.
- Those same songs show their waveform behind the player slider, with your loop in bright green.
- Each count-in number bounces in on its click, with a gentle vibration. On the downbeat, a circle spreads out from the number.
- After the count-in, the song starts right on the beat, over AirPlay and Bluetooth too.
- Give a playlist its own theme. Songs you open from it use that theme in the player too. The downloadable photo themes need iOS 26.
- The metronome settings stay hidden until you turn on Metronome Count-In.
- Buttons and menus in the player vibrate more gently.
- The playback slider moves smoothly instead of in small steps.
- Apple Music songs start right after the count-in, with no loading wheel.
- A loop that ends at the end of an Apple Music song now counts in on every repeat.
- On Apple Music songs, the slider no longer stays at 0:00 for a few seconds on the first play.
- On Apple Music songs, the slider keeps moving while your finger is on the points list or a control.
- On iOS 26, a sideways swipe on an empty part of the player no longer goes back to the song list. Use the back arrow instead.
- A file you import with a name that's already in use gets "(2)" added to its name.
